The gift of yoga is coming to awareness of the inner joy — that sense of connection, well being and contentment with all that is. While some bodies need big flows full of challenge, other bodies need the gentlest invitation to discover the relaxation that is integral to TriYoga.

Gentle Yoga provides a safe and nurturing environment with respect for all individuals, body types, ranges of ability and needs. You don't have to be able to do anything to learn how to be yourself.

Through Gentle Yoga, we will explore the principles of TriYoga: deep, rhythmical breath; relaxation-in-action; steady focus of the mind. Props and modifications will be presented to help students find ease in each moment while opening to new possibilities over the eight weeks. Postures will be presented that require students to get up and down off the floor.

If you have not yet tried yoga due to reservations about whether you can, this class is for you. If you have friends or family members who need a gentle introduction to the practice, forward this email on to them. Your testimony of the accessible nature of TriYoga is the best encouragement for those who might be uncertain.
